Officers Disrupt Crime and Seize Drugs & Weapons in Proactive Operation

Officers from LANSBURY, POPLAR AND LIMEHOUSE SNT teams were out on Operation Cubo on East India Dock Road, working proactively to keep our roads safe and tackle criminal activity.

During the operation, officers stopped an individual riding an unlawful e-bike who attempted to make off from police. Thanks to swift teamwork and determination, the suspect was quickly detained following a short foot chase.

A search uncovered a range of concerning items, including:

🔹 Offensive weapons

🔹 Suspected Class A drugs

🔹 Cash and drug supply paraphernalia

🔹 Lock picking tools and items believed to be stolen

The individual was arrested on suspicion of multiple offences, including possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of offensive weapons, and going equipped for theft, and has been taken into custody.

Another example of proactive policing disrupting criminality and protecting our communities.
